Job Summary

Gelcompany is a rapidly expanding international company with operations in California, Germany and Australia. The company specializes in the development, manufacture and sale of innovative proteomics, genomics and cell biology scientific tools. The company has in excess of 500 products and our customers include opinion-leading laboratories in North America, Europe and Australasia.

Gelcompany is the global leader in high resolution 2D electrophoresis workflow solutions. Our precast gel technology and running platform offers a new approach that provides unprecedented sensitivity, as well as reliable and affordable proteomic analysis.

Our global sales team is rapidly expanding and we are currently seeking a highly motivated sales professional to cover the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology or equivalent
• Ability to run electrophoresis gel-based demo experiments
• 2-3 years sales experience
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, love to work in high-paced environment

What we offer

• Exciting work environment in a small, entrepreneurial team
• Base salary: $65,000 - $85,000, Commission $35,000-$40,000 at quota, full benefits package of Gelcompany, Inc.
• Full training in Gelcompany products will be provided at training facilities in Tubingen (Germany).
