PRESS RELEASEDate: 12 February 2004 Subject: Fluorotechnics receives a Research and Development Start Grant from the Commonwealth Government. Details: Fluorotechnics is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $960,000 over three years from the Commonwealth Governments Research and Development Start Program. The grant was awarded to assist with the companys plans to develop and commercialise new multiplex fluorescent labels for proteomics. The R&D Start Grant is a key component the Commonwealth Governments Backing Australias Ability Initiative. This grant will assist the company in developing new fluorescent proteomic products that will generate export sales and create Australian employment opportunities.
