Subject: Fluorotechnics receives a Research and Development Start Grant from the Commonwealth Government.

Fluorotechnics is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $960,000 over three years from the Commonwealth Government’s Research and Development Start Program.

The grant was awarded to assist with the company’s plans to develop and commercialise new multiplex fluorescent labels for proteomics.

The R&D Start Grant is a key component the Commonwealth Government’s Backing Australia’s Ability Initiative.

This grant will assist the company in developing new fluorescent proteomic products that will generate export sales and create Australian employment opportunities.
