LavaBlueTM Protein Stain Kit
LavaBlue is a fluorescent stain for 1-D and 2-D protein gels, developed as an alternative to colloidal CoomassieTM Blue stain. LB-011001 provides sufficient fluorophore to stain 20 polyacrylamide minigels.
LavaBlue staining protocol is fast, simple and flexible, providing as sensitivity of 2.5 ng/protein band and 2-orders of magnitudes of linear dynamic range of proteins. LavaBlue-stained gels can be imaged using Polaroid ® and CCD camera based on excitation with a standard UV - transilluminator. LavaBlue stain is ready-to-use and the kit contains a complete set of reagents for easy preparation of all the required solutions for staining steps. |
