LavaCellTM Live Imaging Stain
LavaCell becomes fluorescent on spontaneous conjugation to proteins. This enables cell staining against a low fluorescent background without the need to remove excess fluorophore. LavaCell is low molecular weight (Mol. Wgt. = 410), water soluble fluorophore which is very simple to use. When conjugated to a protein it has an extraordinarily long Stokes' shift (200 nm) making it ideal for multiplexing with other fluorophores. LavaCell is non-toxic and readily permeates cells making it ideal for live cell imaging. |
